Illuminated 𖤓

The world had stopped or, at least, so it seemed.

We had done it. Somehow we managed to overcome time, pass through it and stand before it.

Living through a pandemic in the “new age” is quite a paradise for the deadly ones who remain asleep in the clouds of your city, still tired from so much pain caused in life by the black plagues and the not-so-black ones, which tore out with suffering the very suffering of merely living in those times. It was funny to hear them shouting at us from limbo:

You are so very lucky!

But mourning the dead is a collective habit, so after those whispers, it would start to rain.

In 2020 I went to live in a cloud. The third floor of the highest floor was my home.

There were no windows to the north and none to the south. The ones to the east were content to be on the first and second floors, while the ones facing west hid in a single room.

The ones in my room looked at the sky. Yes, it was my cloud.

I woke up, saw the sun coming in and began to write:

❝ Illuminated and wandering I begin the walk of this day.

I feel the energy of dawn and the new sun caressing my virtues.

I received the bath of the moon and the stars while the mountains slept,

and today, my wishes are made of peace and harmony.

I am moved by the light and love of every place I inhabit.

The beauty of this earth takes pity on me. And I live to share the majesty my senses manage to perceive…with every being that visits my existence.

Expectant and grateful, I decree for myself and the growing pulse of my essence: peace I am❞

and I will not forget it.

To pass through time is to become a channel. I never knew where what came came from, but I will always be grateful to that sun.
